This site aims to give a clear overview about my career, academic qualifications and activities developed in elite football, sports consulting and research areas. Briefly, I am a really passional coach, focused on being prepared for the challenges ahead. Therefore, it is very important to be in a constant learning process, undertaking new courses, being with the greatest mentors in the area and know about the current practices. In 2010, I received a Sport Training Degree from Polytechnic Institute of Santarém, Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior. After three years in labour market, aiming to increase the expertise on Sports Science and High Performance Methodologies, I began a Master (MSc) in High Performance Training from the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Human Kinetics which was completed in 2016 with the dissertation on “the influence of substitutions on elite football teams“. The need to increase knowledge on Sports Physiology and Sports Science led me to begin a Doctoral Program (PhD) at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Human Kinetics in 2018 on “recovery methods and training optimization in elite football” that was finished in 2022 with an honorable classification, an approval unanimously with distinction and honors.
